Go Figure!!!! Since moving into my Arts and Crafts Home, here at Lawrencetown Beach, I've been researching my home and the "movement" to be confident that any changes I make are in keeping with the home's historic qualities.
I will be spending my summer doing something in the kitchen; but over the past 2 days, we finally "broke out" a wall.
Prior to this, in order to get to the pantry, I've had to leave the kitchen, walk through the keeping room, down the hall into the living room and into the pantry!!!!!
Now, thanks to some great construction workers, we've removed a bit of wall, made an opening and VOILA!
I can now leave my kitchen and walk straight into the pantry room.........IT'S A MIRACLE!!!
This is very important because I've been trying to re-design my kitchen without the use of too many cupboards. I don't want it to look like a modern kitchen gleaming with cupboards everywhere.......AND I need my kitchen floor and wall space to re-instal the WOOD COOK STOVE, which is resting in the garage.
So, almost everything except what we need for day to day usage will get stored in the Pantry.............
step 1 in the process! now for step 2.
Have a fantastic day my fellow A&C comrades.

I am not familiar with the term. We recently purchased a craftsman bungalow which will need a lot of work in the kitchen. We currently go from the kitchen into a little hallway between the pantry and the door to the attic.
